Police in southwest Sydney are investigating a major incident in Rosemeadow following the deaths of three people at a residential address in the early hours of May 3.

Emergency services were called to the property around 1:30 a.m. after reports of a serious incident. Upon arrival, officers located multiple individuals with critical injuries. Despite efforts from paramedics, three people were pronounced deceased at the scene. A fourth person survived the incident and contacted emergency services, assisting police in their rapid response.

A 32-year-old man was later arrested in connection with the incident after attending the location by vehicle shortly after the initial emergency call. He has been charged with three counts of murder and one count of attempted murder. Police have confirmed that bail has been refused.

Authorities say investigations are ongoing, and detectives are working to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident, including the events leading up to it. At this stage, police have stated there were no known prior domestic violence reports involving those involved.

The incident has sent shockwaves through the Rosemeadow community, with residents expressing disbelief and grief as they come to terms with the tragedy.

Police are expected to release further information as the investigation continues and the matter proceeds through the courts.
